Warm It Up

No matter if you're hitting a home workout or making your way to the gym, you still need to warm up.

I know the feeling. You get that burst of motivation you've been waiting for all day to tackle this workout and feel accomplished but, there's one thing you MUST do first.

WARM UP

Warming up increases your rate of energy production and raises the temperature of your core so you aren't just diving straight in with stiff muscles.

Think of your muscles like a rubber band, they need the elasticity so they don't snap and lead to injury.

Here are a few of my favorite DYNAMIC WARMUPS:

1. Leg Swings

3. Scorpions

4. Cat Cow

5. Inchworms

Perform each exercise for approximately 30 seconds before diving into your workout and truly be ready mentally, and physically.
